Where to Get Help

Have a question or need some assistance?  Here are some places where you can go for help with CS101.

Your CS101 Instructor
You can take any problems or questions you have regarding the course to your instructor.  See your instructor during office hours, ask your questions during class, or e-mail your instructor.

Open Lab
CS101 is offering 24 hours per week of Open Lab time staffed with CS101 instructors.  If you have a question, check the schedule and come in to get some help.

Course Coordinator
If you have a concern regarding the class that can't be resolved through your instructor or one of the other above means, you can ask the Course Coordinator.  Please note that it is best to start with your instructor as they will be most familiar with your situation.  If you wish to contact the Coordinator, Brian Powell, e-mail him at brian.powell@mail.wvu.edu.  Decisions of the Course Coordinator can be appealed to Dr. Afzel Noore (afzel.noore@mail.wvu.edu), but you must work through your instructor and Brian Powell first.

OIT Help Desk
The OIT Help Desk can help you solve many basic computer-related questions including ones related to Microsoft Office.  (MyITLab is beyond their scope of service, however.)  Call them at (304) 293-4444.
