Chapter Notes

Importing XML files

The heart of this chapter is the idea of importing data. The first test for you to pass in your homework is importing the data you will be working with. All data in CS101 will come to you in the form of XML files. You can import an XML file by Data  ribbon and From Other Sources, and then From XML Data Import and selecting the desired XML file [1].

Tips & Tricks

Importing XML files

For this chapter, always remember that you need to open Excel first, then go to Data to import data.  Don't try to directly open files that we provide you [2].
