10.20.2009 - Homework 5 Available
Hello. As HW5 is considered by many to be the most challenging of the semester, I have gone ahead and made it available early on. It is due on 11.6.2009 and you need to start working on this very soon. We will be going over this in class next week. Lee

10.13.2009 - Homework 4 Available

Hi folks, your HW4 is now available in the assignments page. It is due 10.30.2009 and we will go over this in class next week. Be sure to get a very early start on this one as it takes significantly more time to complete than the others thus far. Lee

10.10.2009 - Homework 3 Scores
Hello, your HW3 scores and comments have been posted. Please review in the online grade book and let me know if you have any questions. Lee

9.21.2009 - Homeworks & Exam 1
Please remember that your Homework 2 is due on 9.25.2009, and Homework 3 on 10.2.2009. Also Section 01 will have there Exam 1 on 10.5.2009 from 6:45 to 8 p.m. and Section 14 will have Exam 1 on 10.7.2009 from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. You must have your WVU ID in hand for the exam, and your lecture day will be shorter that week.

9.10.2009 - Next Week

As previously mentioned, I will not be on campus next week and will not have access to e-mail during this time. Cal will be teaching your lectures in my absence and another CS101 faculty member will be present to provide any needed assistance. Should you have questions, please see Cal after class, or head to CS101 Open Lab in 219 Armstrong Hall during scheduled hours.
9.10.2009 - HW2
In addition to your homework 1 being available, I have posted your HW2 on the Assignments page. Remember that I often post helpful movies on the assignment pages and that you can also find hints on how to do various steps in the CS101 FindIt Guides.

Class Begins 8.24.2009
Hello! Please be advised that we do have class Monday evening despite it being the night of Fall Fest. There will be important aspects covered that you need to know about the course, attendance will be taken, and a mandatory form will be signed for you to be able to participate in the course.
 
I look forward to being with you for the semester, think we will have some fun, and that you will be challenged to learn some new an useful areas in the geek world!
