Are you a returning student?
If you first took CS101 in Fall 2023 or earlier, you will need to purchase a new code. See below for options on how you can obtain an access code.
If you first took CS101 in Spring 2024 or Summer 2024 and purchased a MyLab access code at that time, follow the I'm a Returning Student instructions.
Obtaining a new access code
If you're a first-time CS101 student or your previous access code expired, you'll need to get a new MyLab IT access code. You can do this through several options.
Use BNC First Day Complete

If you are participating in the Barnes & Noble First Day Complete program, you will need to go into the CS101 section in eCampus. There is a link on the left side of the screen labeled BNC Course Materials (First Day Complete Access Code) that will allow you to view your code. Save that code and then follow our I Have an Access Code instructions.
Buy direct from Pearson
If you prefer to purchase a standalone code online, you can buy MyLab IT and eText access directly from Pearson. This process occurs entirely online so you can begin using MyLab IT immediately. To use this option, follow our I Want to Buy an Access Code from Pearson instructions.
Buy at the bookstore / I already have an access code
You can also buy a standalone access code from the Barnes & Noble Campus Bookstores or Book Exchange. Use these codes with our I Have an Access Code instructions.
Use 14-day free temporary access option
MyLab IT includes free 14-day access you can use to get started if you are not able to purchase the license yet. Follow the I Have an Access Code instructions for this option. You will not be able to use the eText with free temporary access.
The free 14-day access option can only be used once.
When you are ready to purchase MyLab IT, follow this Pearson support document to upgrade your access.
Course IDs
You will need the correct Course ID for your section to register. It's important that you follow the registration instructions above to make sure you can receive proper credit for your work.
